I am educated as textile designer at Danmarks Designskole.
Through experiments with colours and patterns and by investigating new materials,
I have since then been working on creating a unique production of raincoats free of PVC.

The result is a range of exclusive, colourful raincoats for
both men and women who like to attract attention, also on rainy days.

I have a background as a visual artist artist, which I believe shine through my patterns and my style.
I regard every coat as a peace of art.
Every coat is unique and each one has a number.

They are printed and sewn in my workshop, showroom and gallery ‘Butik Polka’ in Copenhagen.

You can find cotton coats, trousers, dresses, T-shirts and hoodies as well.

The design SUSE HAR TUNG was represented in the museums boutique at
Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 2005,
and has been mentioned in numerous fashion magazines.

My paintings are motives of animals in a sharp and humorous line.
The animals are placed in strange situations in landscapes or urban settings,
and they often turn direct to the observer.

I am working on making my cats, hens, frogs and other animals alive,
in a way that they almost step out of the picture.

With prints direct on the canvas as background,
or with fragments of cars or flowers in the picture,
the paintings get an extra dimension of surrealism and new integrity.

- Lovely and delightfully usable were the rain clothes from Suse Hartung Dahn,
who had experimented with colours and patterns in previously untried materials.
And created something as original as environment-friendly raincoats,
which must change any grey day into a delight for the eye
